In the personality for Chauvet Rogue R3 Wash, 21 Chanel profile, the zoom parameter is reversed (minimum zoom creates maximum zoom on the fixture and vice versa).
Thanks for any help!

Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulty with this profile. Currently the Eos profile's zoom is set to industry standards where the Home (minimum) is DMX value 255 and the maximum is DMX value 0. This way the light turns on with largest zoom possible by default. If you wish to customize this differently you can certainly edit the profile in Eos by adjusting the Zoom parameter's Home value and its range. In the range swap the DMX Min/Max and the User Min/Max and you will have adjusted the zoom to your liking.
If you have any more questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact ETC Technical Support!
Best,
Therese

Therese,
Thanks for the reply.
It does not describe what I'm seeing on the console, though. When I turn on the fixture in home position, is DOES default to all-the-way open on the fixture, but not on the console.
The ML controls panel lists this as 8 degrees, with the slider in the minimum position. When I then move the slider to the maximum position (30 degrees appears on the EOS screen), the light in real life shrinks down to 8 degrees. The light is actually controlling in inverse from what the screen says it is doing.
As for the default-to-open thing, that is not how the EOS software treats the other movers I usually use (Maverick MKII Washes, Mac Vipers, etc...) when I turn them on from home, they always default to tight beam... as does the R3 wash, according to the EOS software, if not according to actual fixture behavior.
Hello,
I've been unable to determine what the Default value of the Zoom parameter should be based on the manual's DMX chart, but I can see a range from 0-255. I'm happy to submit this fix to the Eos team, as I agree that the labeling is incorrect, but I do not have any documentation so far to set a different home value. It also looks as though these fixtures have a setting that can reverse the Zoom functionality so please be sure that this setting is not enabled for some reason. In the meantime, please edit the profile to match you desired control through the custom profile editor.
