The Pan & Tilt range for the GLP Impression X4S is incorrect in the built-in profile. ( Eos v3.0.2 / Fixture Library v3.0.1.2 )
According to the manual (and confirmed in practice) correct ranges are:
Pan: -315 > 315 (630º total)
Tilt: -110 > 110 (220º total)
The incorrect ranges in the built-in profile are:
Pan: -330 > 330 (660º total)
Tilt: -150 > 150 (300º total)
^^^These ranges are correct for the larger Impression X4 fixture, not for the smaller X4S.
I've been using X4S fixtures in a long-running show for years, but I never noticed this flaw until I upgraded to Eos v3.0 and starting playing with Augment3d. Obviously the focus positions in Augment3d don't match reality unless I correct the ranges in the Fixture Editor.
However, if I were to correct the ranges in the profile in my show, it would break all of my existing Focus Palettes, and require a considerable amount of reprogramming. Is there a way to scale those parameters in Augment3d to trick it into showing me accurate focus positions? (I will ask this in the Augment3d forum as well).
Thanks.
