Please update the Vortex 8 DMX profiles to include the "Reserved for future use" parameter found at the end of every last one of Creamsource's official, published DMX tables as seen here.
As an example, Vectorworks, Lightwright, even the LCD screen on the fixtures themselves see a Vortex 8 in Mode 6 as an 18 channel fixture. EOS treats it as a 17 channel fixture. If someone isn't aware of that discrepancy and range patches a flock of V8s without offsetting, it could cause some issues and take a minute to figure out why all the lights are freaking out. Details matter.
