Martin Mac Encore Shutters

Hi there,

Does anybody know why the fixture profile for the Martin Mac Encore Performance Warm & Cold are different, specifically the shutter part?

In the Encore Cold Profile:

  • DMX CH 20= Frame D
  • DMX CH 22= Frame C
  • DMX CH 24= Frame B
  • DMX CH 26= Frame A

In the Encore Warm Profile:

  • DMX CH 20= Frame B
  • DMX CH 22= Frame A
  • DMX CH 24= Frame D
  • DMX CH 26= Frame C

I'm not sure which one is correct, but I feel as they are the same fixture (just with different LED engines) that the profiles should match.

Thanks in advance,

Reese

  • I would rather go with the version of the Cold Profile. (But actualy i would go with A B C D... But the order is not shown in the Manual)

And yes, you are rigth. There is no reason that there are differences.

  • I would definitely agree that it would be preferable for the Warms to be changed to match the Cold's. This is because currently the Cold matches the Mac Ultra, so if the Warm was changed all three would match

  • i guess this is assuming that the shutter order in the physical fixture is the same between Ultra and Encore... but i agree that Cld and Wrm should probably be the same.
