Whenever a channel is added to or moved in patch, it can affect Group selections. It would be a helpful convenience thing to be able to designate a group as a set range, no matter what happens in Patch.
I usually use Groups as Cue List filters, so I'll make a group that's (for example) channels 1-1000, and then set the filter to the group. It's clearer in the cue list properties window and easy enough to deal with. Except when we move or delete a channel, then that group turns into channels 1-498, 500-565, 567-1000 or something messy, and this can also null things out in the cue list if I forget to update that group. So it would be nice to be able to forgo that extra step and just being able to say "this group is this channel range, regardless of what happens to those channels from now on."
