In Art-Net, there is a frame called Art-Poll which is used to discover nodes and consoles on the network.
In the protocol tab of the patch, we can enable ArtPoll to be discoverable by others but there is no option to discover the other devices on the network (like the device list of the RDM tab for example).
It would be interesting to add something to discover the nodes on the network.
Like that :
- if we set Art-Net in Unicast mode, it would help us to get the IP addresses of the connected nodes (to add them in the protocol tab) ;
- we can check which node listen to which universe ;
- if the node is compatible with this part of the protocol, it can be configured remotely from the console.
