Add Support for Multicell Fixtures in Magic Sheets

I would love the ability to see and quickly/easily duplicate multicell fixtures in magic sheets with a single reference point, like if you could assign a "leader" channel to one object in a group to be the channel's master intensity and the rest of the grouped assets auto-populated their channel field accordingly to be the cells.

  • Well it’s been 3.5 years since this post and ETC still hasn’t done this. Now a tiny company like Blackout has added this feature to their IPad based lighting control software before ETC. Also Onyx has a similar function. Here’s a link to Blackouts new feature they just released. I would really like to see ETC invest real money in improving their consoles and speeding up the process of implementing feature requests. This forum seems to be the place where good ideas come to languish for 3-5 years before they maybe get implemented. This is so unacceptably slow.

    I too wish the timelines were shorter, but this feels a little bit extreme. Blackout's Live Plot is no more powerful than Magic Sheets, which many people (myself included) have been successfully been using for iPad-based maps for years. The only thing that they are short on from this post is the easy duplication of multicell fixtures, which is currently equally as simple to do as in Blackout, with improvements incoming.
