Audio-in for BPM and Audio track to start/work internal Timecode

Hello Eos Team,

I have been collecting inquiries about this for a long time now, especially in recent times. I think that have a TAB to manage various options of BPM it would be very useful and important, also because in some locations they may not allow you to connect your pc to the console with Luminosus.

The possibility of loading an audio track to work directly with the internal timecode is also very much requested and appreciated, possibly in other TAB??, personally I would find it very useful for programming shows at home without connecting any PC to the console.

Thank you!

Giovanni

  • Yes a native mp3 or wav audio player to work in tandem with timecode would be amazing!

Currently I use a computer outputting SMPTE (or MTC) that plays the audio and we write timecode sequences to.

However, it would be awesome if the integrated audio player would work bi-directionally with the event list -- so that if audio is currently playing, then the event list slaves to the audio file. BUT, if you pause the audio file (or go into a specific mode) and then hit a cue, then that cue's timecode would trigger audio playback starting at that timecode marker. For example, during cue writing, I'm going back to rework a specific q143, that I can go to q142 hit GO and then audio picks up exactly where I'm at, but then to avoid a "who is controlling who" situation, it would be audio is always the master unless it's currently paused (and/or if a specific slave mode is enabled).

  • "loading an audio track to work directly with the internal timecode" Yes Please!
