I see very old discussions about a password/PIN option to protect show files or console access, and a recent discussion about whether this should be a feature request, however I don't see it here in the feature requests. Recognizing that some folks think a password is a bad idea, I'd like to suggest it could be an optional item within either show files or even better, on console start-up.
From an educational setting/prespective, we really need to be able to control who gets in to the system - whether we're locking out kids or over-involved parents, or facility guests overstepping their rental agreements. A password/PIN step would help a lot.
