Hi there! I've been running into a lot of shows where I want to have subs that fire with a discrete delay in/out. Currently the workaround is to have a cue list with two or three cues -- the discrete delay on cue, the discrete delay off cue, and I tend to use a 3rd to release values to background. Since you can't apply discrete timing on a release in a cue, any time I change the background state (or there's a new background state), I have to duplicate the cue list.... it gets messy.
What I'm proposing is the ability to either set one discrete time on channels in a sub, or to be able to use the split time syntax to be able to have different on/off discrete timing. I figure hold time would still be dictated by the sub properties.
An example of what I can imagine this would look like when programming would be
In Blind Sub Editor, editing a sub.
101 [Thru] 200 [Offset] {Mirror Out} [Delay] [0] [Thru] [0.5] [/] [0.5] [Thru] [0] #
The result of this would be when you press the sub bump, the range of fixtures would turn on in a mirrored out fashion. Releasing the bump button would do the inverse.
