Control EOS with midi controller like Cobalt does

Why nomad users need to use a third party software to control EOS with midi controler?
Let us use midi to control faders, macros and desk keys with control changes and midi notes.

    Bump. 

    Proportional Control of Faders/Subs seems to already be implemented in "Analog Inputs" as per the manual.

     

    It's frustrating that there's no native integration for proportional Faders using MIDI CC since this makes faders on MIDI controllers pretty much useless for their intended purpose, without using any 3rd party software.

    Most of the common Midi Controler use Control Channel for the Faders.

    I think i speak for krabe as well, when more possibilitys for Midi Control Channels are available.

    Like maping a Submaster to a Midi Control channel and control it via the velocity.

    Or mapping Direct selects via Midi RAW.

    Cues and Macros are already available. But having a little more would be nice.

    I've just tried to control a sub with a control change event with my nano korg, intensity is not proportionnal as my fader level. It's not the behaviour I expect with a control change

  • midi input can control cues, subs and macros. no 3rd party application needed. and OSC can control even more aspects of the console.
