Because, at the moment, merging in A3d is an all or nothing affair in patch, I think many of us will be using the import method as opposed to importing in an existing Augemented rig. That means trying to get the VW export as detailed as possible, to leave as little work to do in Eos, since in-theatre and tech time is precious. Since many many theatre lights are typically run "soft", it would be great to enter "00" in a user field in VW and then map that user field to "edge" in the import window. Would save some time.
Or
Allow us to set a default Edge value. I suspect many theatres designers would set that to 00, and then "sharpen" only the lights they need to.
