DMX View or Tester

It would be nice to have something similar to sACN view but just for console DMX output that could also be used offline to check levels. This would be especially useful when troubleshooting lamp controls, etc... when you don't have a fixture to test or no nomad key so you can visually check what the levels would be doing. This could be baked into sACN output viewer or a separate tab.

Another thing this could do is expose DMX testing features such as direct address controls without the use of the address key.

Gess you’re right. Since I use address channels in this MS, the values I see could be outputed in any protocol (dmx in my case). Is that what you mean?

I built a dmx output viewer on a magic sheet. Nothing very fancy. Just to make sure if it is a bad physical connection, blown lamp or wrong fixture address. I Unchecked the interactive option. Just use this for info purposes.
Never needed to do something similar to view/check artnet patching, but I imagine you can build it.
