I want to make a suggestion, based on my workflow.
I do a lot of touring with my shows and try to keep them as tidy as possible. In every venue there are different lights with different parameters, so I want to prepare my show only with intensity values and dedicated channel labeling. No type or adress set beforehand as this happens on site.
I just want to know which lamp is supposed to be lit when. Only intensity values stored. To do this, I use 'unpatch'. It behaves as expected, but it also clears the labels.
Now I am wondering is my request something that is missing or are there better ways to make your show tour ready?
