Flexi options for A3D Channels Only

....the other side of that coin though is kind of why I made the suggestion in the first place. There is a lot of work that can and will be done outside of the theater with A3D so that makes it a previs tool as well, and with that, I could see the need to have A3D have a totally independent flexi state. Maybe in time it's a setting that can be changed, but I'm still leaning heavily that A3D follows Tab 1... and/or at least that's the default setting.

This is an interesting question (which is why I'm sure it's in discussion!). My instinct is to say that since it seems the focus of A3D is really as a programming tool rather than a pre-vis tool, that keeping it locked to tab 1 is more intuitive. This way keeping the command line consistent no matter what tab you're in. However, I will add I've only been using 3.0 for 2 weeks and haven't show tested it yet. For the most part though, (when in Live) I don't want the command line to be dependent upon which tab I have active.

We are in discussion of the tie in between live/blind Flexi versus the tools currently in 3.0 (which are clearly not the same).    I would not expect this to change in 3.0 - but will be addressed most likely in 3.1 (time).  So question.    Would you want the A3d tab to follow the Flexi state set in your active tab 1?   Or do you want that to be set totally independently of tab 1?
