In Augument3d function Distribuite / aligns x placement fixture

hi,

this function would facilitate the positioning of fixtures, for example on a circle .. a bit like in the magik sheet array, distrubuite H o V, align rotation ecc ecc.

You can already do a part of this:

Patch>Augment3d: Chan 1 Thru 10 Position x1/y1/z1 Thru x2/y2/z2 Enter
Patch>Augment3d: Chan 1 Thru 10 {Pos X} 1 Thu 10 Enter

This currently isn't possible for Orientation, but it's on the list. With this syntax you can create lines of fixtures, but not circles and not rectangular arrays in one go.

There is also a function to convert from Magic Sheets to Augment3d positions. Maybe you can use the array function in Magic Sheets and then convert to Augment3d?

Hi, to horizontal and vertical isn't a big problem... edit a circle with fixture be a little slow at the moment.. i try to magic sheet to Augument3d..

This has been brought up through a number of other avenues as well. Post 3.0 release, we will look at additional / more fluid alignment tools.
