Partitions and Groups: Absolute Selection Mode

When using partitions (and groups as cue list filters) it almost would be preferable for the selections to be absolute and not react to changes in patch.  So often, we'll add a channel here, or move this channel to there, and now my partitions and filter groups are messed up and I have to go and fix them.  It would be nice to be able to say "this partition will always be channels 1-500."

Parents
  • Conversely, a partition should always reference a group and update *when* the group gets updated, eg: Group 0.9 is an all utility lights group. If I add 10 rush pars to group 0.9, it should automatically update Partition 99, without having to duplicate the data.
