I know this is something along the roadmap somewhere, but I haven't seen it listed in the new feature requests feed and figured it should be moved here as well. We'd love to see password or 4-digit pin-style protection ability for eos consoles. Regarding the conversation that it would be difficult to figure out a way to unlock a console in an emergency, there could be an emergency user unlock method similar to that implemented on Foundation HD and desk consoles, similarly user accounts could be implemented with access options like specific magic sheets/face panel access/playback only/etc.
Just some ideas to get the ball rolling again if it's lost any momentum,
