Purge unused/duplicated presets

Mainly for touring/Long sit-down shows where you want a clean, bloat-free showfile.

The idea would be you could select a range of record targets and then use a purge softkey to sort through those, deleting unused targets, removing unused channels from targets and consolidating duplicate targets. Would then give a summary of what had been consolidated to check that it was all correct, and which label for each target was wanted to be kept if they were different.

Could also work to delete unused channels from patch.

  • I agree, I'd love a tool like this to delete 'unused' record targets or clean out the unused channels. It obviously could be a really dangerous tool but I think if it's made so it's a very intentional command line, then I think it'll be really useful. Potentially, it could only be actioned when you've got one or a range of record targets selected and gives you a confirmation with a summery?
