Query by string (Text search)

It would be great to be able to query cues by their label. We store cues as scenes for a TV show and label our cues by set name and episode/scene numbers so it would be great to be able to search the list of cues by a string.

This has been available for a while, however not with query, since query will always answer with a channel selection.

With Cue or GoToCue in the command line hit Shift+About (or click the magnifying glass at the end of the command line).

You've just blown my mind! Thanks for sharing, I've been asking ETC for years if there was a way to do exactly that and they said there wasn't. Thank you for sharing!

this actually works for most record targets. with Shift+Abot Eos will always search the record target that is currently mentioned in the command line.

Chan Shift+About will search channel labels
GoToCue Shift+About will search cues
Chan 5 Preset Shift+About will search presets
