I have a whole bunch of effects that run from a background state to a CP. When my bosses boss finally makes up their mind on what the background color should be, it would be super helpful to be able to record both the background state and the effect into a by-type palette, as they tend to ask me to "run that effect" on completely different groups of fixtures (and then ask to change the background color again).
I've tried to record this a couple times, but it only records the BT color into the preset and the Effect is stored discrete.
My workaround so far has been to select the group I want to run the effect on, then run this macro:
Enter
Select Last CP (X) Enter
Select Last Effect (X) Enter
But it would be so great if this were something I could do by double clicking a preset DS button.
