I would love to be able to record groups while patching.
In most cases we patch groups of lights in an order that we would eventually make groups. During patching the channel selection is already in the command line and could very quickly be "select last'ed" and recorded to a group, streamlining the programming process.
Problem: Patching and Group recording are currently two separate work flows, causing the programmer to renter data, once in Blind Patch & once in Live.
Solution: enable record group command in Blind Patch.
Understanding that a cardinal rule of Eos is that there is no "Record" in Blind, I would argue that channel selection and groups are not "Looks" on stage and therefore should be exempt from the rule.
