Shortcuts for Adding New Target Keys

Hi,

The process of adding new target keys by way of custom direct selects is a little tedious…

Could we make some sort of shortcut where typing say [snapshot][1] and pressing an empty target key adds the snapshot to both that target key and the corresponding custom direct select?

Or press a blank target key to put [target key] on the command line  and then type what you want it to be before hitting [enter]? For example, [target key 1][snapshot][2][enter] puts snapshot 2 on target key 1, or [target key 6][effect][7][enter] puts effect 7 on target key 6.

I love the target keys just not the way they are set up.

Thanks

Greg

  • You can add *most* targets via the command line in CDS. Some might involve specifying a range with the pop-up, and being able to immediately hit enter out of this menu would be very useful.
Eg: I've selected Presets 101 Thru 104, I shouldn't have a dialogue pop-up, or I should be able to accept the dialogue pop-up by pressing the enter key, currently I have to touch the screen.
