In searching through the request archives on this forum, this seems to have been suggested 8 years ago and Anne responded that it would be implemented back in 2.4, but it never was. I'm floating the idea back to the top. This would be really useful to me in so many ways, from sending notes to a programmer, to keeping a "to do" list for things to work on with a template file, to archiving useful information about the system setup for future productions.
