So what's next for NDI

its been 6 months since that whole licensing fiasco.  Did them RigPOV ever reach market or was that halted as well 


love to wakeup one day to
Advance Augment3d NDI Outputs for LED Video Playback and offline programming , Madmapper/Resolume ect ect like Depence R4

  • I wish they could reach an agreement with Vizrt, just like ChamSys did (at least from what I could gather). But I'm afraid it looks like they discarded NDI for good.
    At least for the forseeable future.
    We have out whole video-infrastructure built on NDI, so this is a real pain.

    This new Media Streaming via RSTP is cool but you physically cant do anything with it just view media in a video player or magic sheet and in Agumented3d for offline programming from VLC or OBS . I hope they find a way we can spout to NDI devices then we could actually use Eos as multimedia device like what ChamSys does your right. They also supply 64 universe around same price point as Ion XE that is 2048 parameters . ETC would need to have a way to upgrade if we wanted to be Sending to live NDI feeds, Resolume and MadMapper synchronize lighting and video
