Now that the roll out of NDI has been halted. Support for more generic streaming protocols like RTSP, RTP, RTCP and RTMP would allow us the same general usability. These protocols are already used in almost all security cameras, allowing EOS users more and cheaper cameras to ingest into the system. NDI can also be converted to RTSP through various free programs and cover the gap to other media servers.
