Swap Fixture Position between Channels

Late response, but is there a plan to be able to swap numbers in a list as well? For example, if i record a red color as color palette 1 and a blue color as color palette 2 and I want to swap red to cp 2 and blue to cp 1? Obviously I can find a blank color palette and do a shuffle between the three color palettes but that is kind of annoying and slow

yes, swap is an intended feature - not just for fixture positions, not just for patch data, but for most show data.

In lieu of a feature for this if X & Y are the channels you want to swap and Z is an unused channel number then the following should do the trick:

• Chan X Copy To Chan Z
• Chan Y Copy To Chan X
• Chan Z Copy To Chan Y
• Delete Chan Z
