Syntax for Effect Rate or Size multiplier when programming

If Effect x is running:

Effect x Rate / 50

Effect Size / 150

Just like it works for Intensity and other params.

Thanks!

  • To piggy back off this please do [ch][x][effect][@][/][200] to double the effect speed or [ch][x][effect][@][/50] to half the speed. I would like to be able to macrotize effect speed and size (especially speed) so that I can increase it with a single button while still being able to record it to a cue.

If the effect has multiple effects on it then it should be necessary to specify the intended parameter the effect is on before changing it. So if you have an effect on the intensity channel and the color channels then you have to type [ch][x][effect][color][@][/][50] to increase the speed of the color effect. The default should be to increase rate if rate vs size is not specified.

Currently the macrotized way to change effect speed is with an effects master filtered to one effect, but that can’t be recorded to a cue. So it would be nice if I can just pick a channel and double the effect speed or rate without having to search for the effect number or cumbersomely search in the ESD for the right effect, etc.

    Thanks
