Tab Navigation for Macro Editing

In order to change tabs in a macro there needs to be a TAB_DOWN [#] TAB_UP but that can only be done when recording. It would be really great if it could be added after the fact, if forgotten.

What brought this up for me was trying to make a patch macro and thinking I want to navigate to tab12 off the top after writing a long macro. I tried using a simple snapshot to bring it up, but it isn't pushing me into the correct tab so the macro is not running on the proper tab, which makes it less safe then I would like.

  • Yes you're correct that there is no TAB_DOWN option in the macro editor, which probably should be there. It also isn't shown in the search (shift-about) as an option either, just regular tab which doesn't work.

Although if you're specifically looking for patch, it can be learned a few ways -- it seems it can also be learned / triggered by:
    Blind Patch
    Open_DMX_Patch
Both of which can be either learned or explicitly entered in the macro editor.
