In this case that would be NoMad (or Ion).

You can send:

/eos/newcmd=Cue %1 Rate %2 Enter, 1, 20

to change the rate for a specific cue.

%1 = first argument (in this case, 1)

%2 = second argument (in this case 20)

So the command line ends up as "Cue 1 Rate 20#"

You could try leaving the cue number blank, it will default to the cue number on the command line (typically, but not always the currently running cue).

I don't know what a "Max messagebox" is, so I can't help you there.
