But what if this is a global palette or a per type incl. all types in your show... So sometimes all fixtures would be included... Are you really sure this would be good idea?
[Open] the palette, then just close the palette. This will select your fixtures automatically (Assuming you have "Select all fixtures when activated" in your programming preferences) You can quickly close a window by holding [Open][Backspace]
So essentially: [Open] (Touch you palette) [Open]&[Backspace]
This is actually something I have discussed going back a long time. I don't really mind how you select the data but I would love to gain quick access to all fixtures contained within a pallet. Double tap, long press, combination of another key + press I'm not bothered. This would return whatever fixtures are contained within the palette into the programmer. Global palettes would return all fixtures, type all that type etc.
I have requested a time ago the keystroke “Group pallet x” for selecting the fixtures in that specific pallet. And for “group cue x”, “group list x” and “group scene x”
