Express console stuck on boot screen

Hi every one.  We have an Express 125 and it has suddenly stopped booting, and remains on the boot screen (boot v1.02).  After about 30 seconds there is a click and the Stage Learn Clear and Cue buttons light but nothing else happens - the screen remains on the boot picture.

I have reinstalled the Console Software v3.1 that came with the unit and it seems to install ok (0%-100%) but returns to the boot screen.  

Does anyone have any ideas?  Is there a system reset disk/set of keys to hold done? 

Any help much appreciated.

    You will need to send the console back to the factory for repair.  The internal memory that the console software lives on has become corrupt.  Please contact your local dealer to make arrangements.  The good news is that ETC can fix the problem.

  • Have you tried doing a deep clear of the console? As a note, a deep clear will delete the show file so you should make sure to have the show saved on a disk elsewhere. To deep clear hold down keys 7, 8, & 9 on the key pad while powering on the console. Keep these keys pressed until the stage screen pops up or in your case, you hear the click. Then re-cycle power again without holding down any keys and load your show in.

    If this does not work you will need to send the console in for repair.
