Upgrading a Legacy Insight

Just came upon a venue with a legacy Insight...I had never seen this older software on an ETC "Express Family" console before. This is the much older, DOS-looking, multi-colored (I assume original) software.

Can I install newer Expression software on it? Or is the hardware too old?

Is this an Insight (1) or an Insight 2 (or 2x)?

An Insight 3 is probably already running the latest - the newest is v3.1.1, which you can download from here.

- Note that this download is the 'standalone' Expression software, not Express(ion) with Emphasis.

I should probably point out that all Expression software is "DOS-looking".

You are correct, didn't know if it would be backwards compatible. As in New software on old console.
