You can use Hog 2PC with DMX output and then a DMX input device into WYG to get them to work. I am unclear if WYG10 supports Hog 2PC on the same machine. Earlier versions of WYG did make this possible.
Yes, you can . . . the driver for Wyg is with Hog2PC, and it's simply a matter of configuring the DMX interfaces correctly, which IIRC, is in the docs . . . . I don't have my Wyg system up at the moment, but if *after* reading all the manuals, you still have issues, I can probably take a look.
I installed the software for use midi. WYSIWIG receiving communications from hogpc Wysiwyg trying with the mini console (software) of the cast works so good, so the problem should be hogpc
Midi has nothing to do with base operation - it is used for talkback to Hog2PC to use autofocus! To get Wyg and H2PC to talk to simply model based on console output (as if you were using DMX) it is a matter of defining the DMX devices correctly. First, in Wyg, you need to define the Hog2PC console, and then assign your fixtures to the universes you define there. (I'll boot over into it, and see if I can get you more details shortly . . . ).
OK, here's what you do . . . First, make sure that you have the Wyg extension to H2PC loaded. Then, in Wyg, go to the "Data" section, and then select "Patch". Define however many universes that you want to use with H2PC. Once that is done, go to the "Live" section in Wyg, and then pull down "Device Manager" from "Live". If you have not yet defined the Hog2, then hit "New" and do so. Once that is done, go into it (properties) and select each H2 output - 1 through 4, double click it, and define which Wyg universe you want that output to drive. Patch your fixtures in Wyg accordingly. Oh, and if you don't see "Connected" in the Device Manager screen, go back and look to be sure that you put in the Wyg driver to H2.
The patch isn't imported - you have to make them both the same when you setup, unless I missed something. Beyond that, I can't tell you . . . I have never used autofocus.
