I am sorry Matt, I am unsure what you mean here. I have played with the effects and am able to change the base values. Can you please provide specific keystrokes so we can understand the problem you are having?
sure, you got a cuelist and got FX on Pan Tilt, Color, and Beam running. You only like to change base values of the FX...
for Color an Beam this is no problem without losing the FX, try it at PT on 818 you will lose it either you try to merge or open the cue or whatever i haven't found a way to change the base values without losing the FX...
Shouldn't you just be able to set the effect table to Track instead of Off? I wouldn't think you'd want to code hard values for your effect into the cue every time you want to change the base value.
Gotcha. As I reread the thread it seems you are right.
In that case, I'll change my question. I believe that when you grab a paramater it normally sets the effect table to that parameter to off. Couldn't you set a new base value and then either Backspace+Effect to knock all effect values out of the programmer or just only select Use P to mask the position and not the new effect table into the cue?
