In the earlier software release notes their was written that all Elo Usb Touchscreens would be supported, but we can't get a 1525L work properly with the hog. Is it possible to get the drivers and implement them into the software.
According to page 66 of the v1.3.8 Hog 3 User manual,
"At present, only one model is supported: the Elotouch 1727L-Accutouch USB 227258-000."
As far as I'm aware, we haven't tested the console with any touch screens other than this model.
Elo has released some new models that are compliant with the European RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive. We are currently working to ensure that we have proper driver support for any direct replacements of the model listed above.
USB Extrnal Touchscreens supported Can now use Elo USb touchscreens on the console. Touchscreen calibration has been improved and extended to the external touchscreens.
This is written in the Changelog between v1.1 and v1.2
And it doesn't say it has to be a accutouch and a 17" monitor, and if it has to be this should be a very importend piece of information.
You are correct that the v1.2 software change log doesn't list the specific model that is supported.
The v1.2 user manual does list the supported model on page 54.
The v1.2 release happened more than 3 years ago and much of the team here has changed since that release. I agree that the specific model supported should have been listed in the change log. I will certainly do my best to ensure that if any driver changes happen or if we add support for new models that we clearly list which models are supported in release notes when those changes happen.
Please let us know if you find any errors or omissions with any of our current release notes.
Thanks for the reply Tom. The thing is we've bought these monitors before 1.3.8 and their not refundable so were stuck up with them, i hoped future software releases would clear the problems.

Not sure where you are located, but we have had success exchanging the incorrect touch screens for the 17" accutouch models, although there was a handling/restock fee applied and they had to be in like new condition with original packaging.
