using touch when a cue is paused

I have the following issue:

a cue is paused running from cue 1 to cue 2 at for example 44%. selecting fixtures and using touch results in the values programmend in cue 2. I think touch should result in a capture of stage at that moment. but correct me if im wrong. The workaround is of course to actually touch the parameter wheels but is that the best solution ???

  • Frank,

I've been trying to reproduce this, but I'm not having much luck. Touch seems to be properly grabbing the current (paused) output state. Can you give me some more information about what fixture types and parameters you're having problems with?

    Marty,

Live is actually just a tool for selecting fixtures. It can select based on intensity and / or palette usage, but it won't actually set any values. Touch and Suck are the best options for grabbing values into an editor based on what's happening on-stage.
