Having Difficulty With Network Drive

Hi all,

is there any better paperwork in setting up the Network Drive? I've been trying it for few days and I'm still not getting anywhere. Could someone please advice?

Here's my setup:

Hog 3 (default IP: 172.31.0.1)
2 DPs (DHCP assigned IP: 172.31.255.254 & 172.31.254.255)
1 Wireless Router (IP: 172.31.0.254)
Laptop (DHCP assigned IP: 172.31.255.253)

Network Designation folder on Laptop C:\Hog 3 (Set as shared folder)

Therefore I presume the settings should be:

IP Address: 172.31.255.253
Folder: Hog 3
User: (Should this be my laptop user account or my Wireless User Name?)
Password: Password of either Laptop or Wireless
Domain: ???

Is there any other settings that should enable on my laptop? Thanks in advance!!!

    I would also make sure that the network connection is enabled to share. Check this in the properties setting for the adpater that you are make the connection with. Then check the box next to file and printer sharing. Also chek that firewall settings with either windows or your third party virus software is not blocking it. The quick way to check this is to disable th software and try the connection again.
