When I go into the control panel then network it says "Disconected" in the Link State.
The network should be online to make packets running. If you can't connect your Gigabit Ethernet to the network, or you have problems with IP allocation, you should disable it and focus on Microsoft Loopback adaptor - this is virtual network for inpc communications (typically you can find it in Windows "Add Hardware" wizard).
