The current release visualizer connectivity software works with v3.0 and should work fine with ESP v2.3. If you are having trouble let us know and we will help you get up and running.
Can you describe the issue you are running into? Which version of vision are you running? Does the connectivity box come up when you launch into an ESP show? If so, does it get to scanning port? If so, does it attempt to connect?
We have called you at your office about it. On the phone we tried it a couple of times but still no success. They told us that they will fined a solution for it. On this day still no answer. So i hope we will have the answer very soon. please?
Sorry, I understand why you where so blunt. I think you mean you phoned chris at his office. Not me, as I am still a school boy lol. I'm sure this issue will be resolved shortly.
If I remember correctly in your situation the VOB was able to see the console and was displaying "Wholehog DP (2417)" but it was not connecting to the show. Is this correct?
I don`t think you understand me because I was not blunt. I had just a question about esp vision. but this will not help at all. I will fined another way to do this. Sorry that you are so up said , but it was really just a question next time better?????:D

This is what I'm getting and have not been able to connect. I have tried restarting my computer and my Hog 3. I am running Hog 3.0, ESP 2.3 demo(just came out) and Visualizer 2.22. Should I reinstall Visualizer? It's the same copy i was using with ESP 2.2 Thanks in advance for any help
Couple of questions for those experiencing trouble with connectivity: Are you running your visualizer on Windows Vista or XP? Do you have a firewall service currently turned on? Is Windows defender running (Vista)? Is User Access Control turned on(Vista)?

Chris thanks for addressing my problem. I am running Vista. I just had the ESP 2.2 demo working with Hog 2.6 but now I'm running Hog 3.0 and the new ESP 2.3 demo. Maybe it's the new ESP demo? Firewall is turned off. Windows defender is off. User Access Control is off.
The visualizer connectivity window says: Wholehog DP 2417 at the top
Status: Connecting
Info: Checking Software Version or Scanning port 6600.... switches between these two every few seconds
port: 6600 user:1
I don't have the ESP demo show loaded in my Hog 3 but i have a new show file load. I don't think that would make a difference?
I've been preprogramming for a few weeks on Vision using V3.0.0 b2417 with no issues. I'm running XP on my Vision machine.
Check the network settings on your computer and make sure it is set to obtain an IP address automatically. Checking that usually resolves any connectivity issues that I have. Also, I start my show and make sure the server is running before I log on to my Vision machine. I've had issues in the past with the console assigning an IP address if the computer is already running.
I know with WYG, you have to add a DP2000 to the show in order for the software to recognize it. Maybe that could be a solution? It just does not yet recognize the DP8000 in the software as it is so new.
