HTP lists holding over even after Pig - Release

Hi

I'm having the following problem:

If I record a HTP list that only has intensity information and have it on a fader occasionally it stops being active via the fader and will just hold the intensity. Also say you have the fader at full when it holds over if you then take the fader to 50% and hit the flash key it will then hold at 50%. Weird.

I can't pinpoint how it accrues though. I thought that maybe because I have a state recorded with that information in was the problem but when I delete the state it still happens.

I have tried the follow to correct this:

Release - NO

Pig - Release - NO

Delete playback - NO

Delelet list from List view - YES

Control via GM - Yes

Control via Programmer - NO

Please help. Has anyone else come across this?

  • Ok,
    a few suggestions,
1.Try running the htp list on another fader on the wing and see if the problem persists, you might have a dirty or damaged fader especially if it a show where the same HTP list appears on the wing for a long show run or duration in the same location.
2.Try running the htp list on the main console and see if the problem moves.
3.If you copy that list to a blank page with no other list does it behave as expected?
I'm wondering is your list being stomped or overidden by another list....for example if you have a htp list with desk channels 1>5 at 50% and have another list with desk 1>5 using an f/x or chase you may run into issues where the htp list will not behave correctly when you return to it.

Running HTP faders on usb expansion wings has in my experience some minor bugs where information is not completely gone when you change page or output. This is not something i can repeat or create but happens from time to time.
