I'm trying to load 3.2.2 on my rackmount 3 backup system and cannot get the unit into boot mode. Neither USB keyboard nor programmer widget prevent standard boot up. When the new software disc is in drive at start up the console cannot complete start up procedure at all. Any ideas?
The fact that the CD works in another console doesn't necessarily rule it out as the source of the problem. Some drives can be more sensitive to problems with burned disks than others. The laptop-style drives used in the RCU also tend to be less forgiving.
Does the system have the original CD drive that shipped with it, or has it been replaced? The fact that having a disk in the drive keeps it from booting is odd. Once it does boot, is it still running the 3.1.x software properly? Can you load and save shows on a CD?
