hog iPC: RAM upgrade

Hi there

i was wondering if it is possible that we could upgrade the RAM of our hog iPC...

i think it now has 512MB RAM installed, i would like to double that ammount (by inserting 2 512MB bars) to get our console a little more stable.

it looks like it that with the new software version the 512MB is not sufficient


any recommendations?

    I don't recall actually. I put in 2gig of ram in the iPC, and while it takes longer to boot (Due to the ram checks etc), it seems to have a generally zippier performance. I notice it mostly during window redraws and changing to the control panel etc.

    Right now it is is being used as a backup board, so it is not getting as much programming on it as it used to.

    With ram so cheap, it's probably worth a try.
