v3.2.2 on IPC Big Bug

Just want to check im not doing something silly here, on v3.2.2 thats just come out, it appears that when recording a cue in blind mode (as you may often do on the fly) the cue you record contains what fixtures you're trying to record, but absolutely no information for anything relating to any of those fixtures? only in blind mode however?

I only discovered this when doing some programming with WYSIWYG, so havent tried it in the real world yet, but that seems like a pretty massive bug if it is not just me being moronic? especially if you did not know it was a bug, as youd record a cue, press play and you'd go to a complete blackout?

Thoughts/Opinions?

Cheers

  • [QUOTE=g.burrows;58837]There are a butt load of instabilities in the latest updates with IPC. Networking is a huge one. You cant sneeze in the same room or the server will crash. I dont quite understand how in this case, but maybe its a hardware thing as IPC is virtually an off the shelf computer instead of one built specifically for high end? I can see how that would cause issues with things like networking due to driver support e.t.c, but not this?

Thats right, but most of these problems are depending on which hardware revision you are using. Especially older iPC have these problems
I had upgraded/changed my motherboard about a year ago, since then all is fine.
