Am I correct in thinking that the Hog 3 was not capable of outputting sACN, even via a DP8000, but the Full Boar 3 was, either directly out of the back or through a DP8000?
A full Hog 3 console can output 16 universes of DMX over sACN only through a DP8000 via it's Fixture Link network connection. The Full Boar 3 can do 12 universes of sACN out of it's on board Fixture Link network connection. You can add additonal 16 universes of DMX over sACN if you add more DP8000's to your network.
Do you get 16 universes even when the expansion unit is not added to the DP?
So it was just Art-Net that the FB3 could output and the Hog 3 could not...I never realised this.
So moving the question to the Hog 4 (wrong section of forum I know) - it has a DP8000 with 8 physical DMX outputs but do you still get 16 universes of sACN?
