Hi Max,

A couple things:

1) please make sure you are using the console correctly to create a Bootable USB Stick. For help, please see the link below. See the top-half of page 8.

2) Please make sure you are downloading the correct install file. When going to the XPe Image download page, download the link to the Bootable USB.

3) Make sure that when you extract the zipped file and copy the contents of the unzipped file over to the USB drive. Do not extract the folder directly on to the USB drive.

If you using the USB drive to run the system restore, you just want to make sure that it has been created as a boot-able USB drive properly.

Another thing to consider..

There may be a compatibility issue with the mother board and that SSD drive. Please keep in mind that the console was not originally designed with the SSD drive. While some on this forum might disagree with what I'm about to to say, perhaps you you try a hard drive of similar spec to the original. I know that some users have installed SSD drives on their consoles with success, but I would not be able to speak to what SSD specs to recommend.

When using an SSD drive, it must be 80gb at least so that may be part of the problem as well. Also try disconnecting any other USB devices except the keyboard and USB drive being used to install the software.
