Problems finding or creating profile for 6 dmx channel LED

I have some MS Lighting LEDs that are similar to the American DJ PunchPro. However, that profile does not work. I've been going through the Smartfade ML personalities library searching for 6 channel profiles but have not found one that works.

In the MS Lighting user manual for the lights, it appears I need to create a personality that uses the DMX channels this way:

Ch. 1 Intensity

Ch. 2 Red

Ch. 3 Green

Ch. 4 Blue

Ch. 5 Strobe & color changer

Ch. 6 Strobe & color changer

Can I do this myself? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave,

It certainly is possible to create a custom fixture personality that meets your needs-- take a peek at the user manual (http://www.etcconnect.com/docs/docs_downloads/manuals/SmartFadeML_v3.0_User_Manual_revA.pdf) here. Beginning with page 32, it addresses the basics of creating a custom fixture. Especially in your case, I'd recommend creating this fixture live, as it will give you instant feedback on if it's being addressed properly. Since this is an RGB fixture, you'll want to pay special attention to the section at the top of page 34.
