Add encoders to an element 60?

Hello there,

I would like to know if the #lighthack box is working with an etc element 60? It would be great to add encoders to the desk!

I think it should work if your element have win7.

you can tell if your element is win7 if you look at the back of the console and it has two network ports.

no, unfortunately it will not. you have an element running XP, but you need one running win7. the good news is that you can get the hardware upgraded. this will cost money, but i think the value you get is great. it's a new motherboard, SSD, two network ports, win7, the ability to connect any touchscreen that says "win7 compatible" which are much much cheaper than the Elos, and some more.

should have known that two years ago when our element had to be repaired for about 1000€ just because the mainboard broke down...

Our element is working well with iiyama touch screens...

Hi Jan - keep in mind that you could still attach a #lighthack project to a Windows 7+ PC running ETCnomad software. That PC could be networked with your existing Element console.
