un-stickied posts

could un-stickying posts please not mark them as unread? when there is no content change of course...

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Could you give an example?

If you are the author (or have edit rights) and change the stickiness of a post, you have, by editing it, read the post.

I think I know what he means. For example in the Eos Beta Forum when a new build is released the old build stickied thread is un-stickied. At that point the old sticky thread shows up as unread/new post even though I already read it when it was originally posted.

Ah. I misread the OP.

Yes this will happen because the post is technically being posted again. I'll look into it for a future update.
