A request to make the etc forum mobile compatible..

what mobile OS and browser do you use? mine renders the forum quite nicely. there was a redesign some months ago

I am using iPhone 10.1 on Safari. I will try updating to 10.2 (which I think is very recent) and see if its better.

Or maybe more specifically: what doesn't work? Is it the size, formatting, functionality when reading, when posting

I updated my OS and it still did not work. Then I got the Firefox app and it's works great. So, it's Safari that does not display the forum nicely. :/ It did not fit in the screen. You had to scroll right and left to see everything and the menu buttons on the top right did not work. There also was not a reply button on the bottom of each message. So, I guess I'll use Firefox for now but can I put in a request to getting it working on Safari?

Generally speaking, community.etcconnect.com utilizes responsive design in that on a browser that presents itself with a narrower resolution, it will collapse to a single column and hide some of the wider elements that don't collapse well.

You should always have a reply button on posts you are allowed to reply to regardless of desktop vs mobile optimization.

Can you check your iOS settings for Safari and see if you have disabled JavaScript?
If you have disabled JavaScript, both reply functions and responsive design (and many other functions) would not behave properly.

To check this, go to Apple's Settings App>Safari>Advanced and make sure the toggle for JavaScript is on.

I'm sorry, I just noticed your reply to this thread. Java Script is indeed turned on, so, I'm not sure whats up. Thank you. Also, is there a way for me to be notified when someone responds to one of my questions on the forum. Like an email notification? Maybe there is and I missed the email?

You should get emails from noreply (at) etcconnect (dot) com with notifications about replies, posts and other content you are subscribed to receive. You are automatically subscribed to content you post.

Do you use any content blockers?

Not that I know of. Maybe they are going to my unroll me account or spam. Can I change my email? I'm trying to get rid of yahoo because they keep getting breached. When I tried to change it in account settings it said I cannot because I have solo email enabled, but I cant find where to disable it.

You would need to change your email through your MyETC account information. You can find that page here: www.etcconnect.com/.../Account-Information.aspx

The single sign-on error is because we are using your MyETC account to log into this page too. (I'll remove that option so you don't see it)
